Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU)

Logan-Mingo Area Mental Health Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a voluntary, short-term program delivering an array of intensive services. The provision of intensive services is intended to quickly stabilize a patient’s condition with the goal of avoiding the need for an inpatient hospital admission.  Crisis services are targeted to individuals currently experiencing a mental health crisis and to those who may be suffering from substance abuse issues.  


Services may include:


• 24 hour medical and nursing care

• Individualized and group counseling opportunities

• Extensive case management

The CSU team coordinates delivery of services designed to ensure individual client needs, including meals and personal hygiene needs, are met on a 24 hour basis.​​
