We have a comprehensive substance abuse continuum of care to help our clients as they work through the struggles of addiction.

28-Day Short-Term Residential Care

Logan Mingo Area Mental Health provides a 28-day short term residential program for those struggling with addictions. Our short-term residential care program offers professional treatment clinically targeted to meet the needs of each client.

Outpatient Recovery Programs

Logan Mingo Area Mental Health provides an intensive eight-week outpatient substance abuse treatment program in which clients continue to meet with counselors who support their new life of sobriety. We offer programs at the Logan and Chattaroy campus.

After Care

Returning to a stressful or negative life can be a lot to handle after finishing a treatment program. LMAMH offers a great continuum program that will prevent relapses and ensure that you or your loved one lives a sober life after treatment.

Medication Assistance Treatment

LMAMH offers a physician-directed Non-Methadone Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program consisting of Vivitrol​​​​​​​​® or Suboxone®, along with individualized and group counseling and associated services.
 
Vivitrol​® is a non-narcotic opioid antagonist (blocker) that is injected once a month. It is non-addictive and it is administered by health care professionals. It assists with the suppression of cravings for alcohol and/or opioids.
 
Suboxone Film​® or Subutex® is an opioid treatment that is used to help one begin and maintain continuity of treatment, suppress withdrawal symptoms and decrease cravings under the supervision of a physician. It is to be incorporated with counseling and psychosocial support and administered by a health care professional.

DUI Safety and Treatment Program

Logan Mingo Area Mental Health (LMAMH) offers DUI safety and treatment classes at our Logan Center campus. Our program satisfies the requirements for license reinstatement for the state of West Virginia. ​​​​​​​
